Professionals and advancing players tend to prefer the Legere Signature Series reeds, which produce a warm, rich tone in all registers.
The Alto Sax Legere Signature Series reeds are made from a stiffer material and are cut thinner than the Classic reeds. These changes make the Signature Series reeds more flexible across the tip, producing a full spectrum of overtones and a beautiful sound with minimum effort. No matter which reed you choose you always get the same Légère quality and the durability Légère has become famous for.

Superb services as always
Have been trying Legere Signature reeds for some time on my Bb clarinet and am pleased that after initial doubts I have grown used to them and now enjoy the freedom they bring in that I can just pick up the clarinet and start playing without moistening or having to flatten the back of the reed etc. So have now bought a Legere Signature for my alto clarinet (as sold for alto sax) and am straightaway happy with it.
Great. So much nicer to use than the cane reed
Always happy with Legere Signature reeds. When I first tried one my wife (without knowing that I had changed reeds) complimented my tone
Very good, reeds can be such a nightmare
Looks very well designed ,ease of use, helps me concentrate on playing rather than worrying about whether the reeds any good.
Good reliable reed that requires no preparation
A double-screw system is more secure.
Against my judgement I originally bought a 3 & I found it hard to play so I bought the 2.5, which was one step up from the thicker Reed I had been using
Very pleased with initial testing. Remains to be seen how much longer they last than conventional reeds.
