Legere Signature Soprano Saxophone Reed Reviews
I've been using legere synthetic reeds on my tenor sax for quite a while, so it was natural to get some for my new soprano too. I like them because they are easy to use (no wetting, variable playability you get with cane reeds). The sound I'm starting to get on my soprano is crystal clear with amazing projection. Very happy with them now as I was before.
Exactly what I wanted. I've used Legere reeds on my tenor sax and it was natural to do the same for my other instruments.

I discovered this reed was a fraction too hard for me when it arrived, so I applied to exchange it (via Legere\'s website) - approval was quick and a replacement (strength 2.5) arrived within a few days - excellent service, indeed. Not quite as spectacularly good as the \"American Cut\" alto sax reed I also bought at the same time, but still good enough to be very useful in my main job as a \"doubler\" where time to wet a cane reed is often not available. I look forward to the \"American Cut\" version becoming available soon!
These have become my reed of choice in recent years, I use them on my Soprano and Tenor Sax. Always ready to use, straight out of the bag. The reed is one less thing I worry about now when playing the saxophone. More time for the music.
