The latest reed design from the leading synthetic brand Legere. This is the French Cut design for Tenor Saxophone. This new model is a refined symphonic-type reed which offers a dark, rich, strong sound with plenty of stability and will feel comfortable for Tenor Sax players used to classic French Cut cane reeds.

Legere have modified the profile to ensure an even distribution of material whilst retaining a thin tip. This combination of graduated material thickness and a thin tip design ensures a quick response with just subtle resistance. The sound is rich and resonant with plenty of projection across the range of the Tenor Sax.

This new French Cut reed is produced using the same advanced material and technology used in the highly regarded Signature, European and American Cut reeds. Unlike other cuts though, the French Cut intentionally suppresses high-frequency overtones, this helps deliver a richer sound with more depth which sounds great on Tenor Sax in particular.
