Lyre Holder Screw - Silver Plated - Besson Fit

Unfortunately it doesn’t fit. I’ve not tried to return it, hoping it’s not too difficult to do.

I'm sorry to hear the screw wasn't the correct size for you, whilst we do normally only offer a 14-day approval I would be happy to offer an exchange for an alternate screw so that we can hopefully find the correct one for you. The besson screw arrived before expectation but the besson screw didn't fit my Sovereign. Spoke to Dawkes Very apologetic and asked me to return it for a full refund. Still awaiting the refund but sure it will turn up eventually.

Purchased a lyre box screw for a Besson Sovereign 928 Bb cornet, the serial number indicates the year of manufacture as 1999 so UK made, the description of the lyre screw indicated it to be for UK made Besson Sovereigns but unfortunately the screw has a different thread so it doesn’t fit.

I would of course be more than happy to offer you an exchange in this situation, it is often hard to find the correct lyre screw! It is often hard to tell for certain without having the instrument in-store and being able to try various different screw options however we generally find that Yamaha options are relatively standard fitting.
