This Miyazawa flute is ideal for any professional player. All Miyazawa flutes are handmade resulting in exceptional precision. The PB402E has the partial Brögger System mechanism which features the left-hand Brögger Thumb Key Mechanism. This offers from a relocated thumb-key post and removes the need for using a flat spring which is regarded as potentially prone to friction and wear. It also features a solid sterling silver body and footjoint as well as silver plated nickel keywork.

Handmade flute with 925 silver headjoint, 925 silver body, footjoint, and key mechanism. Open / closed hole options with French style pointed key arms. Drawn toneholes and Partial Brögger System as standard. Cherrywood case.

• French style pointed tonearms: Allow toneholes to close evenly and fully.
• Drawn toneholes: shaped from the flute's body, drawn toneholes provide an improved flexibility and give a richer, warmer sound.
• Partial Brögger System mechanism: Designed by flutemaker Johan Brögger, this design helps the keywork perform more accurately and consistently in the left hand.
• Straubinger pads: These highest quality pads have a firm and flat surface, resulting in a perfect seal. This improves the clarity of sound and also increases resonance.
