Product Information

Stay-Brite is an excellent solder for musical instruments. As its name implies, Stay-Brite will retain its silver colour without tarnishing. As a silver bearing solder, it has a wider plastic range making it excellent for filling gaps. This high strength silver-bearing, lead-free, cadmium-free solder, melts and flows at 430 degrees Fahrenheit or 221 degrees Celsius. It is excellent for all soft solder applications. This thinner wire (1.6mm) is an ideal thickness for working with musical instruments. 

This Solder Kit contains 1/2 oz of solder and 1/2 oz of flux. 

Also available - The larger 1lb spool is the same diameter as the spool in this kit (1.6mm). The larger spool is excellent stock for shops doing soldering work on a regular basis. It is recommended to use Tix or Stay-Clean flux with this solder (sold separately).
