Pivot Set Grub Screw / Locking Screw - Conn Saxophone

The screws were not good my tec tried them on a 1931 Tenor and the broke. He said they were not good quality.

The supplier responded:Dear customer, I' sad to hear these screws broke on your technician, but I'm surprised to hear they were not of good quality. We have these screws manufactured for us by a UK based machining company who make several small screws and other parts which are no longer available from the manufacturers, with the goal of keeping these beautiful vintage horns going as long as they can still make music! I've emailed you directly to confirm what happened and how the screws were faulty, and I appreciate any feedback you're able to give me on them, I know we'll be able to find a satisfying outcome for you. Thank you, the Conn screws fit and are hard to find, especially here in Europe, great you have them. Unfortunately, the taxes at the border make everything at least twice as expensive. I hope you will join us soon again in Europe. All best.

I was struggling to find the tiny Conn set screws, but Dawkes Music have them. I live in Germany and it took only 7 days for the order to arrive from the UK. Now, hopefully, my baritone will survive the tour now!

Was in the shop for some other items and was glad to see these grub screws in stock. These are the real deal, and identical to originals from the 30's and beyond - CONN saxophones and clarinets using the locking "infinitely adjustable" hinge pins, and permadjust feet.
