Product Information

This Muramatsu pad set is made from Pisonis S2.USFL pads. Many repairers use these as a light weight alternative to Muramatsu's own metal backed pads or as an alternative to Straubinger pads.

These pads features a double bladder skin specially chosen for the smoothest and strongest quality. After continuous research, done in cooperation with customers and suppliers, Music Center found a wonderful microfibre that is used instead of felt in the S2•US pads. This microfiber sits in a delrin half shell. Produced with the highest precision by a CNC lathe, this delrin "cup" was designed with a perfect shape, so that the flute pad is very stable and its surface is perfectly flat. Then a cardboard disc, printed with the S2•US logo, is attached under the delrin half shell and over the bladder, as a quality seal on the back of the pad.
