It has a two screw system and rounded design to hold the reed securely and also offer maximum resonance from a metal mouthpiece. Also fits selected other metal Alto Sax Mouthpieces.

This ligature did not fit. Matt actually tested the tenor ligature for fit on a Link STM alto mouthpiece in the shop and told me it was a perfect fit. Then arranged the swap. Very efficient.

The supplier responded:Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad we could resolve this and find a lig that fitted your particular mouthpiece perfectly. The Selmer Ligature for Metal Alto Sax (small) is specifically for small Selmer Metal pieces but may fit some others, although it was the Tenor version you required on this occasion as your mouthpiece was not a Selmer. We encourage customers to double check with us if it's not brand-to-brand sizing comparisons as sometimes it may be something different that is required.
