Product Information

This is a nice clean condition Selmer SA80 Series II Alto Sax in gold lacquer. The Series II is a very popular all round model, it's at home in classical and jazz scenarios and has that classic Selmer sound that is impossible to find on any other brand.

Made in France, the SA80 series has seen Selmer through from the 1980s to the current day. In fact the Series II is still in production and that is no doubt testament to its global success. As mentioned it is a versatile instrument that has a great balance of depth and projection to the tone, alongside reliable and comfortable mechanics.

This particular instrument is good overall aesthetic order, there are just some light/general signs of use but nothing untoward and nothing specific over the usual aesthetic signs of ownership. Mechanically the instrument is in excellent order and has been fully checked and set-up in our specialist woodwind workshop before sale.

This would be an ideal upgrade model for any advancing Saxophonist and if you've ever fancied taking a leap to the Selmer quality then this is a great way to do it without spending nearly £4,000 on a new one!
