The Silverstein Ambipoly Pro European Cut is a synthetic oboe reed which allows for final customisation by the user. The Pro features a European scrape with a thicker tip which allows the player to modify to their personal preference using reed adjustment tools.
The Silverstein Pro oboe reed is designed to be 'unfinished' allowing the player to easily scrape to their own desired response whilst offering the benefits and longevity of high quality synthetic reeds. They are very durable, offering a great response and provide a rich and colourful tone.
This is part of the Ambipoly range of reeds by Silverstein. All of which offer concert-ready warm and round tone throughout. They feel and play like a cane reed rather unlike many synthetic options. They are stable against changes in temperature and humidity, and offer an extremely long lifespan (12 months).

Silverstein Pro Oboe Reed (European Cut) Reviews
Anonymous review via Feefo - 2025-02-28
I have not really used the reed yet, but it feels comfortable to play. Very similar to the previous medium hardness reed which I bought 2 years ago.
I am going to scrape the tip a little bit, but only very carefully.
