Product Information

This is an 'as new' version of the BD5 which has some polishing marks on the body of the mouthpiece. The BD5 was introduced by Vandoren just a couple of years ago but has gone on to become the most popular Vandoren model we sell to in-store purchases. This is because it's extremely easy to get on with, plays evenly from top to bottom and offers a great balance of projection and control.

This 13 series version is designed for American Pitch A440 and would be slightly flatter than a standard Vandoren BD5. So, it's really designed for instruments that need that pitch, for example Buffet R13/ R13 Prestige / Yamaha CSGIII and potentially other pro Buffets including Tosca & Festival (depending on the player).
