Product Information
The new Vandoren Profile AP3 series Alto Sax mouthpieces offer the player a round sound, with clear and immediate response and good projection.
With a new angle design on the beak, this sleek new AP3 Alto Sax mouthpiece model feels very comfortable in the mouth and works particularly well with the new V21 reeds, and indeed the silver V12 models as well. The facing curve has also been modified on this series to help with create a more immediate response and rounded sound.
In our tests we've found these to be very consistent, and to offer a greater tonal volume than the AL3 model which was previously the Vandoren flagship classical contender. This AP3 feels much more similar to the Selmer Concept model.
