Vandoren Profile Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece Reviews
Have been using Dawkes, since they were in Uxbridge. This mouthpiece is easy to use and comfortable to play. Nice sound and articulation is very good. I also use a BD5 but I also find it tiring to play for extended periods. This mouthpiece perhaps lacks a little of the darkness of the BD5 but I can play on it all day if needed and that really helps at times. 5RV Lyre, perhaps a little old school but it works and is incredibly easy to live with.
Needed more power and projection for shows and Big Band gigs, I mouthpiece certainly delivers that, and also has better tuning in high register of my clarinet (R13) bonus!
An excellent mouthpiece for when the tip opening of the 5JB is too much.
