The Vandoren V16 Alto Sax reeds were launched in 1993 to answer the demand of some American jazz musicians, namely a JAVA with even more body. The result is the V16 reed which offers a brilliant, percussive sound with lots of projection.- The V16 has a thicker tip than the traditional Vandoren reeds
