Windcraft Baritone Horn Valve Spring Light

I wanted to lighten the valve action on an old besson compensated Bb baritone. Sought advice, but only got a reply from Dawkes, advising their product might do the job. When delivered, the springs were light enough but a little short. A little judicious stretching sorted that and the valve action is now lighter as long as the valves are lightly lubricated. The springs are much lighter than I anticipated.

Exactly as described, I open the end slightly for a better fit in Besson baritones.

One out of six didn’t work efficiently

Perhaps a tad on the light side - almost need a 'medium' weight spring! But work well if keep valves oiled and much better for fast passages than previous heavy springs
