Windcraft / FAXX C Melody Mouthpiece Ebonite - USA Reviews
This mouthpiece works well with my modern C melody. It is used with tenor reeds and it is a little disconcerting to have the bottom end of the reed overhanging the table but it plays well in tune even if the tone is a little brighter than I prefer. The only drawback is that the mouthpiece is quite loose on the cork so you might need to wrap some paper round the cork to get a tight fit. I also have a vintage C melody but this mouthpiece was less successful with it and tuning was more of a problem.
