Product Information

The XO1240 is an independent valve bass trombone. It's an excellent combination of traditional, classic specs with a highly specialised production process. This is all crammed into a sensibly priced overall package for the advanced player.

It has a host of features including a gold-plated rotary channel which offers excellent anti-corrosion properties. The instrument comes with a set of three interchangeable leadpipes allowing players to personalise their resistance and blowing experience. Two different length yellow brass models and a sterling silver one make up the set and all offer a different sound and response.

The 1240RL model here has a 0.561" bore size with a rose brass 9.5" bell and a yellow brass outer slide. It features a dual independent classic rotary valve design along with an open-wrap for a free blowing instrument with minimal resistance.
