This is the four valve Eb tuba in silver plate, an instrument equally suited to solo performance and to providing a secure foundation in an ensemble. The fourth valve extends the range and improves intonation in the lower register, and the Maestro build gives the tuba a focused core that carries without ever becoming harsh. A serious professional instrument for band, orchestral or solo work.

This particular example is in excellent condition. Most of the silver plate is original and in tact. There are a few small dents in the bottom bow but nothing that would affect how great this Tuba plays and feels. Like all our pre-owned instruments it has been fully checked and set up in our workshop prior to sale by one of our experienced technicians, so you can buy with total confidence.

It is supplied with the original hard shell Yamaha case and original Yamaha 66D4 mouthpiece, which itself is in pretty good condition. At this price it represents a considerable saving on the new equivalent, and it is ready to play from the moment it arrives.
