Product Information

The Yamaha YPC-62 Professional wooden piccolo is an excellent instrument for those wishing to seriously combine flute and piccolo playing in an orchestral or other ensemble. The grenadilla wood body and headjoint add warmth, depth and power over the plastic body student models.

As ever the Yamaha build quality is second to none and so this makes for a very capable performer at an affordable price range. This standard 62 model has the normal embouchure hole, there is also a 62R with a 'wave cut' embouchure hole and also a 62M with a wooden body and precious metal head. 

We would suggest seeking advice from our flute experts on what may suit you, or better still trying out a couple of the different 62 options with us to find what suits your playing style.
