Product Information
The YSL-350C has the range of a full sized trombone, using traditional slide positions, but it is much shorter in length. The ascending C valve allows you to play a full scale without using 6th or 7th positions. It is ideal for children who cannot stretch their arms far enough to reach all the slide positions, but it is also suitable for adults playing trombone in marching bands and other situations where space is limited.
No other manufacturer makes an instrument quite like this. It is shorter in design, lighter in weight, well balanced, and has a rotor to help reach those lower notes. That gives a very young or small player the chance to start on an instrument they might never otherwise consider, and to use proper slide technique from the beginning rather than working around a reach they have not grown into yet.
This particular instrument is an ex-rental Dawkes model that we have serviced and maintained throughout its life, so we know exactly what it has had done and when. It is in good condition overall with a few very small dents around the bow section of the bell. A few small scratches can also be seen around the bell-to-slide connection. The instrument has been fully serviced, checked and set up in our workshop prior to sale so you can buy in total confidence.
It is supplied with the original Yamaha hard case and Champion 12C mouthpiece. At this price it represents a considerable saving on the new equivalent, and it is ready to play from the moment it arrives with you.
