The Yamaha YSL-445G is a large bore tenor trombone with a gold brass bell, sitting above the student 354 in the Yamaha range and aimed at the advancing player.

The gold brass bell gives a warmer, broader sound than the yellow brass student models, and the larger bore adds weight and projection, which suits band and orchestral section work. Yamaha slides are among the most reliable on the market, and that matters more on trombone than almost any other feature. A sensible step up for a player working through the higher grades.

This particular example is in fair aesthetic condition. There is a bit of wear around the main touch points where the slide and bell meet which can only be expected, but apart from that it looks great. Like all our pre-owned instruments it has been fully checked and set up in our workshop prior to sale by one of our experienced technicians, so you can buy with total confidence.

It is supplied with the original Yamaha hard case, however NO mouthpiece is included. At this price it represents a considerable saving on the new equivalent, and it is ready to play from the moment it arrives.
