The Yamaha YTR-2330 is the most highly recommended beginner trumpet on the market, and has been for years. That comes down to the excellent build quality, the flexible tone and the reliability. It is a great trumpet to start on, or as a first upgrade from a rental or a cheaper student model.

The leadpipe and bell were redesigned in this 2330 series to make the instrument even easier to play, and the new bell thickness has improved the sound. It has an adjustable 3rd slide ring so it stays comfortable as the player grows, and a thumb hook on the 1st slide that helps smaller hands. Monel alloy valves ensure long lasting performance and set this apart from the rest of the beginner market. A quality trumpet that is easy to play and reliable helps a beginner progress and makes the whole process of learning easier.

This ex-rental instrument has been fully maintained from new by our own workshop. It is in good overall condition with the lacquer almost mostly in tact, apart from a few minor scratches around the bell and leadpipe. Like all our second-hand instruments it has been fully checked and set up in our brass workshop prior to sale so you can buy with confidence.

It is supplied in the original Yamaha gig-bag style case with original Yamaha 14B4 mouthpiece included. At this price it represents a considerable saving on the new equivalent.
