Brand new from Canadian Woodwind specialists Backun is this new TM range of mouthpieces. Produced in partnership with arguably the worlds leading contemporary Saxophonist Timothy McAllister, the TM range are ideal for advancing players & professionals alike. They are aimed at graded exam players, and those performing more in the classical/contemporary genre.

The TM range is the combination of technical input from Backun, the legendary mouthpiece craftsperson Richard Hawkins and renowned Saxophone artist Timothy McAllister. Made to the highest possible standards of consistency in Canada on CNC machines, the TM series are perfectly balanced to offer a unique sound with extraordinary quality.

Available in two models (TM1 and TM2), we've been extremely impressed with these new models. The sound is truly special and for those playing classical and/or Sax Quartet, Concert Bands etc the TM2 is an excellent versatile model. The TM1 is very close and would suit those who prefer a very centred set-up using harder reeds. Both offer a unique chamber design which helps provide the beautiful tone and response.
