Product Information

The D'Addario Reserve Tenor is a precision mouthpiece representing D'Addario's modern interpretation of vintage craftsmanship. Inspired by prized historical mouthpieces, the Reserve captures the warmth and response demanded by today's classical saxophonists. Manufactured in D'Addario's New York facility using advanced CNC milling technology, this tenor mouthpiece combines authentic vintage aesthetics with contemporary consistency and reliability.

Featuring a 1.90mm tip opening, medium-long facing, and medium round chamber, the Reserve delivers focused projection and centred tone ideal for classical, chamber, and orchestral performance. The milled hard rubber construction sculpts material from solid stock rather than moulding, ensuring the highest level of consistency and eliminating variations inherent to traditional manufacturing. Each mouthpiece is individually CNC-milled to exacting specifications.

Endorsed by professional saxophonists including Nathan Nabb, Philippe Geiss, and Steven Banks, the Reserve Tenor excels across solo, chamber, orchestral, and wind band settings. Ideal for demanding classical players and advancing professionals seeking a mouthpiece combining vintage warmth with modern precision. Try on our 14-day approval period to experience the Reserve's distinctive character.
