The patented secondary window adds mid and low harmonics, producing an authoritative sound unlike traditional tenor mouthpieces.
Derived from Golden Mean Proportions found in nature, the DV HR Tenor features a long, straight baffle that provides fantastic projection and excellent altissimo. The chamber shape balances the bite with rich sonority, whilst the new embedded bite plate with iconic Phi symbol in gold adds both beauty and function. A gold-plated brass ring on the shank increases stability and harmonics, resulting in a full, fat sound with excellent projection and cutting power.
