The JodyJazz HR* CUSTOM DARK Tenor is a premium hard rubber saxophone mouthpiece designed to produce the most beautiful, warm, and singing tone possible. Built from JodyJazz's proprietary Chedeville® Rubber—a softer, purer hard rubber formula—the CUSTOM DARK Tenor delivers exceptional depth and complexity in sound. The large round chamber positions the timbre in a warm honey zone, whilst the expertly hand-finished baffle and facing curve result from twenty years of design refinement by Jody Espina.

The mouthpiece features rounded sidewalls that add harmonic richness—what Jody Espina calls 'moonglow'—combined with a heavy gold-plated brass band on the shank that boosts overtones and harmonics throughout the instrument.
