The LA Hard Rubber begins with JJ Babbitt's proprietary moulded and vulcanised hard rubber process, establishing a rich tonal foundation and familiar Link core with warmth and depth especially present in the low register. A smaller chamber and higher baffle deliver fast attack, focused response, and added edge when needed. Through partnership with Theo Wanne, manufacturing brings tighter process control and consistency, ensuring every mouthpiece reflects the design intent with confidence.

This is the hard rubber Link for players who want flexibility — moving between warm, lyrical playing and assertive, contemporary expression while retaining the feel and response of hard rubber.
