This is a very clean condition pre-owned Selmer Presence Bb Clarinet. Designed to be the first in their upgrade/pro range, the Presence represents a high-quality French made instrument that is suitable across a wide variety of playing scenarios. Like all our pre-owned Clarinets it has been fully checked, set-up and tested in our specialist workshop prior to sale.

The Presence was launched as part of the Selmer ‘Seles’ range which offered pro-level features but at a slightly more affordable price. The design was brand new by Selmer and featured new positioning of tone holes, a new shape of the internal bore and a modified keywork position compared to any previous Selmer instrument.

We find the Presence sits very comfortably under the fingers and it has a suitably gorgeous Selmer sound. There is a rich quality to the low and mid range of the instrument and the higher register sings nicely with plenty of projection. In summary an excellent high-level upgrade instrument which could be used in high profile playing situations.
