Excellent mouthpiece it’s an upgrade from my Yamaha 4C. As much as I wasn’t sure if it would make a difference- it certainly has. Love it
I had a Meyer mothpiece previously and found my alto sax had only one volume - loud! I am studying Grade 4. This mouthpiece has made a tremendous difference from the first time I tried it out. Much more control over volume and pitch. Highly recommended for beginners and progressing players. PS I am 64 years young and love playing swing and jazz
Tried this along with vandoren mouthpiece, found it much easier to use, especially for top and bottom notes of instrument.
Mouthpiece was fine, but did not solve the problem that I had.
Excellent, but for me too similar to the £56 Windcraft mouthpiece to justify the additional cost.
Very versatile and reliable. Length is unusually long and covers my cork but that isnt a problem in my mind

Had an S80 C* on trial from Dawkes, along with a Vandoren Optimum AL3 and a Selmer Soloist C*. Much preferred the S80, not as dark/warm as I was expecting which makes it very versatile for many syles of music. The S80 reminds me of the Yamaha 4C plastic m/p (square chamber); it plays very well with a clear tone. The S80 has better projection.
