Product Information

This pre-owned Selmer Series III soprano saxophone is a unique addition to our secondhand stock. The body and keys have been completely manually un-lacquered, giving the instrument a vintage aesthetic. The un-lacquering has been competently done and has an antique patina running across the whole body. The benefit of the un-lacquered finish gives a flexibility of sound and resonance, particularly in the lower register.

With the balance and ergonomic mechanisms of the series III, this horn is in great playing condition, and has been fully checked and set-up in our workshop. This instrument would be an ideal addition to any advancing player, particularly in the jazz scene.

In summary this would be an excellent pro-level Soprano to have as an upgrade or for any advanced Alto/Tenor player who wants to add to their range.
