Uebel’s Superior II model features Uebel’s iconic germanic tone, updating the original Superior model with high tech modifications to improve the overall tone and intonation. It’s a beautiful instrument made from seasoned grenadilla wood, carbon fibre joint rings and silver plated keywork with LPGore® pads.

This instrument is in fantastic condition, hardly a scratch or mark on the silver plate and the wood is superb. The carbon rings lighten the whole instrument and allow greater resonance and the LPGore® pads offer water resistance and an excellent seal which helps the instrument play well under any circumstances or conditions. The clarinet plays with a rich, solid, full tone, has excellent intonation up and down the instrument, and features Uebel’s signature hole through the bell, which improves the response and resonance of the low E.

The Superior II would suit an aspiring professional player, someone considering studying the clarinet, or a high level amateur player brilliantly. It is easily comparable to the high end Buffet, Yamaha and Backun clarinets and well worth consideration at this level.
