Whilst this was better for me compared to the others I tried, I didn\'t see a substantial improvement in my tone over my current mouthpiece considering the high cost of the V16, unfortunately.

These are really good tenor pieces. I've played a few (T7/8) and the consistency is excellent. I really like the playability from top to bottom (particularly the big juicy bottom end). With different reed/ligature choices as well as how you play it you have a very versatile piece that can equip itself well in most settings.
