This is a silver plated pre-owned King Legend 3BF (Bb/F model) Trombone. It is an extremely versatile trombone that is a great option for any modern player having to play a variety of styles and genres in different musical groups.With a slightly larger bore and bell than the classic 2B model the 3B has a broader more spread sound and as such offers a different tonal concept to the 2B. The addition of the rotor also allows for more versatility with the instrument over a larger range.
This particular example is in good overall aesthetic condition. There are some obvious signs of plating wear due to the age, but nothing untoward. The slide is excellent and moves freely and quickly. Like all of our secondhand instruments it has been checked and properly set up in our workshop.
